Internationally
renowned make-up artist Terry Jacobs believes every woman has
a special beauty.
"Make-up
should merely accent and highlight her features to maximize that
natural beauty," says Jacobs, whose clients include movie
stars, fashion models and entertainment and sports celebrities.
"I
don't have a formula. I see a face as I'm doing it."

For the past 20 years, Jacobs
has been helping women and men look their best. She serves individual
clients from her studio in the heart of Coconut Grove, Florida,
and travels to locations throughout the world for film, television
and video productions. She was recently awarded "Best Make-Up
Artist in South Florida" by Miami Metro magazine. Jacobs is
regularly invited to appear at make-up presentations, and has demonstrated
her techniques throughout the east coast and Caribbean Islands.
In addition, she has created her own product line, "Cosmetics for the Tropics", which is specially formulated
for women who live in or travel to the Sunbelt region, and "Tropical
Waters," a spray that blends herbs, aloe and mints, and
provides a natural way to cool off in hot climates. |
Glamour, Allure and other
national publications have featured Jacobs, whose client
roster includes Miss Universe, as well as actresses Raquel Welch
and Kathleen Turner, and television stars Maria Shriver and Deborah
Norville. Her male clients range from Al Gore and Jeb Bush to Dan
Marino and John Madden. Jacobs launched her career in cosmetics
in 1970 as an executive for Revlon. She spent eight years learning
the make-up business with Revlon in Connecticut and New York. After
a year-long sabbatical in Kona, Hawaii, Jacobs established her own
studio in South Florida, and began formulating her special product
lines. |
